We are not the tolerant left, and we finally need to talk about how influencers in the Palestine Movement support the ideology of White Christian Nationalism, tokenizing Palestinian identity in order to avoid accountability for inherently violent and racist beliefs. Some of you may know who they are, though we’re not calling anyone out specifically at this time.
In this episode we discuss: The Paradox of Tolerance, how this Veterans Against Fascism march was organized, how it was materially and structurally different from the literal performative Patriot Front march, and how we build momentum and community going forward. To that end, we are joined by Zue Jernstedt - field organizer with About Face: Veterans Against the war, and International Solidarity Member doing protective presence in the West Bank. She was also on the Global Sumud Flotilla with me.
